Radar Sensing Function for Hotel Guest Rooms & Application Scenarios

To help hotels reduce costs, Greentech has launched a radar sensing solution for hotel guest rooms, designed to help hotels achieve better cost reduction and efficiency improvement, while enhancing the overall guest experience.
 
 

Functions

 

  1. Motion State Detection

     

    Using 60GHz millimeter-wave radar, the system identifies the motion state of objects in guest rooms or corridors.

     

  2. High Sensitivity to Dynamic Targets

     

    The radar can penetrate non-metallic materials (e.g., plastic, glass), while static objects may be filtered out.

     
  3. Support for Both AC and Low-Voltage Systems
     
    • AC version with built-in 10A relay, enabling direct linkage with lighting, air conditioning and other equipment without additional contactors.
    • Isolated low-voltage communication: RS485 bus is fully isolated from AC power to ensure data safety (compliant with IEC 62368-1).
     
 

Application Scenarios

 

  1. Corridors & Bathrooms

     

    Automatically turns on lights upon detecting movement and switches them off after people leave (energy saving).

     

  2. Elevator Dispatch

     

    Detects approaching passengers and wakes up the elevator in advance.

     

  3. Security Alarm

     

    Monitors and alerts for unauthorized intrusion.

     

  4. Keyless Check-in Hotels

     

    Automatically powers on the room when occupancy is detected, and cuts power with a delay when the room is unoccupied.
